The Long-term Safety and Effectiveness Evaluation of the QDOT MICRO System Use in Conjunction With VISITAG SURPOINT Module for the Treatment of Symptomatic Drug Refractory Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation.
Observational, multi-center, non-randomized, post-market study. This is a nested sub-study of the REAL AF Registry. Consecutive symptomatic drug refractory paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (PAF) patients from the registry will be screened for enrollment, prospectively or retrospectively, to this sub-study per inclusion and exclusion criteria.
Comparison of Diagnostic Performances of 3D FLAIR, DIR and PSIR Sequences in Optic Neuritis
Ultimately improve the care of patients suffering from multiple sclerosis (1st cause of acquired non-traumatic disability in adults) and NMO spectrum diseases by using more efficient MRI sequences than the FLAIR sequence commonly used in detection of optic neuritis. In the literature, many studies have already focused on comparing the …
Quantitative Assessment of Signal Loss in Cardiotocography Using External Recording
Signal loss in cardiotocography (CTG) recordings is numerous and frequent, whether due to artifacts in signal acquisition or confusion over inadvertent maternal heart rate recording, with various negative consequences for neonatal morbidity and unnecessary obstetric interventions. Data on this issue are 10 to 15 years old. CTG remains the primary …
Biomarkers in Inflammatory Rheumatic Diseases Diagnosis
Ankylosing spondylitis (AS), Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) are three diseases where early diagnosis remains a major challenge. However, early diagnosis is the main determinant for a better prognosis. In the early stage, symptoms may be nonspecific and often difficult to establish a differential diagnosis between rheumatic …
Analysis of the Pulmonary Microbiome
The purpose of the protocol is to study the pulmonary microbiome in patients who develop pneumonia.
A Natural History Study of RYR1-Related Disorders
Background Congenital myopathies (CM) are genetic disorders that can cause decreased muscle tone and muscle weakness. Most CMs in the United States are related to the ryanodine receptor 1 (RYR1) gene. Researchers need more natural history data to learn about these CMs in children and adults. Objective To learn more …
Monitoring Key Activity and Physiology of Neonates in Intensive Care
To optimise and evaluate a novel non-contact physiological monitoring system in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)
Analysis of Biological Progression and Regression of HELLP Syndrome in Time
Prospective observational study about progression and regression of biological parameters of HELLP syndrome
Identification and Validation of Epigenetic Biomarkers of PMDD
This research is being done to examine epigenetic markers and mood changes across the menstrual cycle, particularly in premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). The investigators previously identified epigenetic biomarkers of postpartum depression, another reproductive affective disorder, and in this study aim to determine if these biomarkers also distinguish PMDD cases from …
